Accessibility Service usage ban
Starting from 11th May 2022 Google Play Store introduced a new policy. Apps using Accessibility Service API for call recording, including Phone app are no longer permitted to use Accessibility Service API to record calls on their Google Play Store version. Please understand that developers like us have no control over Google Play Store policies.
The new policy and Phone App
The new policy means you will not find any functioning call recording apps on Google Play Store. While some developers may choose to ignore it and hope for the best, we don't have any choice but remove Accessibility Service API usage from Google Play Store version of Phone app.
Phone Helper
You may need install Phone Helper from other app stores in order to restore call recording functionality of Phone app. Phone Helper uses Accessibility Service API and works with Phone app from Google Play Store to record calls.

Short history
Google have been working to stop call recording on Android for some time. They have blocked access to real call recording on Android 6 and completely blocked call recording over the microphone on Android 10. In response, apps started using Accessibility Service to record calls on Android 10 and above.

Allow Accessibility on Android 13+
An update to Android 13 restricts permissions for apps outside Google Play that require Accessibility access.
To allow permission for PhoneHelper after downloading, please follow these simple steps:

Open Settings→Apps→ PhoneHelper
2. Tap the three vertical dots on the top right corner
3. Tap Allow Restricted settings
Open Phone Helper app to proceed with the installation process and grand the Accessibility permission
